	Story Behind the Song The lyrics were inspired by the "Akallabeth" which is a story by Tolkein about the Second Age of Middle Earth/Westernesse/Valinor, and was published in the volume, "The Silmarillion." Music was written in the early 1980's and lyrics were written in the later 1980's in Troy, NY. The words have been revised over the years until I recorded the current version of the song in 2002. It took a few takes over a couple of days to record.
