If it were a game-oriented song, I would call it "Marvel"...it sorta feels like a wondery feeling through the chorus part, with a sort of darkness through much of the rest of it. |

Story Behind the Song
The rumbling sound, believe it or not, lead to the making of the song. In trying new things, I checked out some of the "noise" instruments, and realized the "Applause" instrument wasn't limited to a certain range. So yes...that rumble is supposed to be applause, but it's so low of a note that it sounds like a rumble. For some reason, I originally named this song ghetto, and actually I thought of lyrics that fit "Snob" enough just from naming it Ghetto originally. I really love the keyboard part that starts at the beginning and then gets higher during the chorus...that particular instrument (Rhodes Piano) is possibly my favorite to use.
On a broader note, I wish I could say I'm normally not hooked to a new song as much as I am to this one, but I would be lying...I typically get hooked to 80% of my new songs, then it wears off for a while. Only about 20% of the songs I get hooked to I wind up continuing to really like, and that list of songs is about 40 now. One of them is Water Stage 3 (Seaside), so I encourage everyone that likes anything of what they hear to download that and some other of my songs as well.
Lyrics
(during the chorus part)
This...what I don't perceive...and I don't believe
The riches of you and your family
So...now I go away...I wish I could stay
And look at you living my fantasies
