Similar in feel to Elton John's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" or "Tonight." Stellar contributions by Alex Kriukov and Lana J. Albert
    CD: Unreleased
Credits: (c) 2003 Music by Kriukov/Didner, Lyrics by Jason Didner. Guitar by Alex Kriukov. Keyboards and Orchestration by Lana J. Albert

    Story Behind the Song
Alex had this solo guitar piece with the title Deja Vu, which he shared with me. Hearing such a profoundly sad tone, along with the title, the image of a domestic dispute came to mind.

Then, who better to add to the intensity of the mood than the Intense one herself - Lana J. Albert with synthesizer and orchestration parts!

    Lyrics
    We retreat to our corners
    No satisfaction gained
    Blaming ourselves and each other
For this crushing tidal wave of pain

But haven't we been through this before?
Lessons we've learned, later to ignore?
Haven't we been through this before?
Claiming to change, then coming back for more

    Haven't we been here?

    I've got this regrettable talent
For finding that one little thing to say
To get you to break down in crying
Still your sobs defeat me everyday

But haven't we been through this before?
    Haven't we been here?
