    Story Behind the Song
The song is an instrumental attempting to capture the feel of the Old Forest in the book "The Fellowship of the Ring" - the woods full of attack trees that the hobbits cut through in a desparate move to ditch the pursing black riders. For effect, I had my assistant put in a brief electric guitar thrash section along with the acoustic guitar, which is played throughout. This version was recorded in 1999, and probably took about 5 takes. The song was written in 1980 in Troy, NY.
