Story Behind the Song
I was thinking how there needs to be some kind of change in today's music. While thinking about this I was listening to Ken Keasy at the San Fransico Acid Test when some of the stuff he was saying hit me just right. So I went home a wrote this song. Lyrics
You've had it long enough, we have a nirvana army. But they don't hup to them old songs, and they don't know what direction they're marching
we've got to get it, off the ground
we've got to get it, off the ground
we've finally found the cup,
and we won't put it down.
We've been sittin' here too long, sittin' here singin' this song.
the signals for flight, are wrapped around us like a quilt in the night.
(Chours)
The way to get out is create attention
light a fire craker and let it burn the
sky.
We'll try it from here, you try it from
there.
We can't make it by ourselves, We've got to do it together.
And if we don't get it off now, we can at leat threated to do it.
(Chours)
