	Story Behind the Song 'Only A Broken Heart' is a modern musical version based on a traditional folk-tale about the fate of emotional surrender. It paints a picture of one man's perceptual loss and its dramatized impact on a much wider scope. Though suppositional, his pain from love's loss becomes transformed into a sinking ship and a drowning crew (an important lesson for those who can relate).
