	Story Behind the Song this is my attempt at a protest song. wrote it while the war in iraq was going on. so i was hearing alot of protests and talk of wars that no one wanted to fight at the time. so i took the same idea made it an analogy for the relationship i was in that had just fallen part. the rest is pretty self explanitory i guess. xogc Lyrics you'll win the battle you'll win the war you'll line the casualties of hearts beside the door you'll make a villian outta me but thats alright cuz this was a war i didn't wanna fight no more decisions, no more debates first shots were fired now theres nothing i could say just keep in mind you'll win over night and this was a war, i didn't wanna fight i'll have the flashbacks feel the shrapnel deep inside i'll watch our good times fade to bad times over night i'll fall to you and be a pattern for the rest i hope they pin a god damn medal to your chest there ain't no treaty you would ever sign i ain't no ally you'd have by your side but just keep in mind if you're lonely at night that this was a war i didn't wanna fight i don't wanna fight.
