Story Behind the Song
I needed to write a song for my girlfriends grandmothers' Christmas gift.....
So this is what happened.....
It was kinda funny about the "1984 year it snowed" I know it really snowed in 1985, here in San Antonio....but I added that line anyways
Lyrics
It's December, all the bills are paid.
Well at least just some of them, my phone got turned off yesterday.
I drive to the mall, it's late and dark. If I drive around enough, I'll find a place to park.
The chicken's greasy, too much salt.
I cooked it myself, I guess it's my own fault.
A pocket full of lint, an empty tank of gas, if that bill man comes around again, I'm gonna kick his *@#.
(CHORUS)
Can you remember not long ago, back in 1984 I think, the year it snowed.
Can you remember not too long ago, a little town down south called San Antonio.
It's four in the morning, I hear a noise outside.
I might not get to work tommorrow, they repossesed my ride.
People over here and people over there and everybody's starting to stare.
My biggest problem is the elastic on my underwear.
(CHORUS)
