Story Behind the Song
The song was written in 2000 and has been used by several worship leaders as a powerful worship song.
Recorded at Sheridan Ave. Music (Minneapolis, MN) 9/27/03. Guitar part was done with an Olson SJ graciously loaned to the studio by Laurance Anderson. The guitar was tuned down a half step, so the song is in the key of Gb. Guitar was mic-ed with a stereo pair of condensors aimed at the 14th fret and a Shure SM-44 positioned about 3 feet away. The Shure also captured the vocals. The lead vocal and guitar were done live in one take. Engineered by Michael Muilenburg.
Lyrics
Falling at Your Feet
Words and Music by Bryan Vrablik
((C) 2000)
Falling at Your feet, Jesus
Here where I love to be.
Deep within this moment, Jesus
knowing You're near to me.
Make me more like You Lord, Jesus
I'm falling at Your feet.
Isn't this the only place I need to be?
Falling at Your feet, Jesus
Here where I love to be.
Deep within this moment, Jesus
knowing You're near to me.
Make me more like You Lord, Jesus
I'm falling at Your feet.
Isn't this the only place I need to be?
Isn't this the only place I need to be?
