Story Behind the Song
Written and performed back in I think '89, "Scimitar of Love" was a fun sorta song. Hopefully, in 2003, it's still a fun sorta song. A scimitar(pronounced simitar)is a short, curved sword, used in--hafta look up the century, but suffice it to say, it's an 'historic' kinda thing here. The lyric content is basically in the popsong dig-me mold, but doesn't take itself too seriously.
Equipment used: Roland Juno-106 synth, Gibson Les Paul deluxe(Goldtop)guitar, Teac 144 4-track cassette recorder, Korg drum machine.
