Nicely double-tracked folk guitar work with sweet but poetic lyrics by love-struck college English major!
Credits: Words and music by Rob Simbeck. Performed by Rob Simbeck (two guitar tracks, one vocal)

    Story Behind the Song
The story behind the song is between Rob and Aggie. Two false starts were edited away, that version will be included in our "Rarities" album to be released in the next millenium. I remember having to prompt Rob with the rest of the line to "didn't even know your name".

    Lyrics
Walked home from your house and never once thought of my troubles
Somehow they just seemed to slip away
Every hour I spend with you is one more hour I'm happy
When we're apart I have the beauty of your memory
And if I can only bring myself to say it
I think that I'm in love with you

Spend more time alone than I can think of without crying
Waiting for a love I never thought would come
Thought that being lonely was just one more way of living
Something I felt deep inside just wouldn't let me sleep nights
And just when I decided there was nothing I could do
I turned around and somehow I found you

    Feel I'm 17 again like everything's beginning
You do that much for me with just your smile
A month ago I didn't even know your name
Never thought that I could feel like I feel when I'm with you
But tonight I know I'll dream of my tomorrows
And how I'd like to spend them all with you

But tonight I know I'll dream of my tomorrows
And how I'd like to spend them all with you.
