	Story Behind the Song The sound of this recording is special, right? The way we recorded this piece was a new idea I had. The Hall in Tainan/ Taiwan was excellent and absolutely silent. We played while listening to our own music through headphones. Then adjusted our playing to a minimum of sound. The effect for the piano was that the legato was getting much better and for the cello it became some new touch which you can never hear in any concert. The basic idea is that it doesn't matter how loud you play on a recording because the avarage level will be always adjusted to match the other tracks. But playing in this increddible silence with some hair of the bow only makes this effect. Of course the wonderful Strad "The Pawle" did its best to support. Lyrics This piece is from the famous e-minor sonata from the set of six sonatas for the cello. I remember a recording with Maurice Gendron, the famous French cellist with all six sonatas. I was still young and what I heard from Gendron has given me much motivation to improve my music. I was stupid not to go to him and get some lessons. Short timer later he died.
