	A giift for my beloved....
	Story Behind the Song So, what do one do when wanting to give your beloved a peerless gift? A gift that you know for sure that is “one of a kind”, that money cant buy? Simple answer - make something with your hands... & being a songwriter & having my studio, & not the least - a girlfriend that by being a songwriter/artist/musician - I knew would understand the time & elbow grease I would have to put in making a song, the answer was easy - the gift would be....a song... So, how to do this? I tried to analyze some of her favorite things in music, than I made a mix of all those things, added some of my own, & some samples from her music, spiced with some “from the heart” with my guitar.... & ...done... The result came out in the land between Deep Forest/Peter Gabriel/Gary Moore, with a piece of Jethro Tull (thats odd huh?). I�d say I�ve NEVER been that nervous about what someone would think about my songs/mixes/guitars...whatever.... but.....*phew* she liked it.... To make the gift _truly_ unique, there was only one copy made - the one I gave to her, but the rest of you can take part of the solo....if you feel like it.... The rest of the 7 minutes is only for her.... love /mikey
