Nice groove, some semi-cool guitar stuff. Unfortunately you have to hear me sing here, but hopefully the other elements will weigh in my favor.. |

Story Behind the Song
Between '84 and '86 I was in a road-band, travelling all around the US and into Canada. This was summer '85, we were staying in Yellowstone Park(in Montana),en route to Alberta Canada to play the Calgary Stampede & Klondike Days in Edmonton. Our bass player was complaining about something band-related to the keyboard player, who was telling him once again, 'start your own band'. I turned to another band member and said, 'Jeez listen to those guys kvetch'(or something like that). He replied, 'yin and yang, goin' on since the big bang'..
When I got off the road the following Spring, that line was still with me. It seemed so removed from the situation, yet summarized it perfectly. So I put together a tune with that line as its basis.
It was recorded onto a Teac 4-track cassette recorder, the other equipment being a Roland Juno 106 synth, Korg drum machine and I think Fender Strat.
