When everything piles up on you, where do you turn? To your parents? Church? That shed in your backyard to carve into your flesh with a razor blade? Hell no, pansy. To 3am pots of coffee at Denny's, that's where. This is a song about your brain, whether you're smart enough to realize it yet or not.
CD: Out of You   Label: Amy Records

    Lyrics
Many things have crossed my mind about the way I look at life. I just find that my mind is just too jaded. And I wonder what just might make a man see what is right in this world that he thinks is so aggitated.

And come some day, who knows what may happen to me now. There'll be other sunny days.
So far away the days where we play together again, like care free children.

The things that are keeping me down are too great.
I wish i could be the one on top of the world.

I know now that nothing comes easily.
I try and try to fake it from mom and dad. It makes me sad, everything's so complicated.
I just want to come back home.

Days have gone and passed me by with chances gone I now regret. I lament what is meant, what would seem not for me. Should I stay a little while and roll the dice and close my eyes and just pray for some way I can tolerate it?

I start to fray. I'm falling apart.
No one ever sees that I have a broken heart.
A summer's day takes me away to that time where I see the light once again.

And I find there' a better way to be free- it just takes some time.
