    Story Behind the Song
"Is the sadness really gone? maybe i'll only be able to know for sure once i've tried, once i'm sure its gone and the past is gone. and on a certain level we are all holding on to those dreams, those memories, to that which is gone because it seemed to bring us some sort of happiness, once. but to hold onto the past as a consolation for the present is no way to live. it prevents us from seeing clearly, from solving our current problems fully and from being happy now. only when we have cut ourselves off from the past are we able to drift away on into the happiness found in all moments of our lives."-daniel.

    Lyrics
    What I cried to sleep
    I see in us all
    i see in us all
    us all gone

    what suicide couldn't kill
    i woke to the sun
    i woke to the sun
after holding her for so long
and i cut myself so empty
    after so sad dream
    after so sad dream
    i am so alone
    waking to the sun
    waking to the sun
my for always smile on the passing life
    passing us by

    what i wanted to fuck
    the wasted used up
she was the arms bent back
bent back like fucking used and
and so who was the frail
    who was that female
    and who was the frail
    wasting and using
    and who was the frail
    a slow in the time
    everyone else everything else gone
    and blurred by

    and maybe
    i can't see
    her face
    anymore
    when i try
    and maybe
    we can't see
    her face
    we'll be more
    when i try.
