Story Behind the Song
This was the first piece of music I recorded when I got busy with my new (at the time) world samples sound module. The recording is a little ropey in places, but I think the song still sounds valid today.
Lyrics
If there's one thing that I've learned in my life,
One thing that makes it better, better than alright,
A way to get through, the long dark night,
I know if I wait, then I'm waiting for the light.
Keep on moving, keep me going strong,
Making the right move so nothing's going wrong,
The faster I go, then the more it feels right,
I know if I stop, then I've given up the fight.
How could you walk away from me, without a second glance?
How can you turn you back on me? Give me another chance.
Can I ask "what's wrong with you?" You're on another plane.
Do I move to fast for you? I know you think that I'm insane.
Chorus
Why can't I satisfy your need, just tell me what you want.
The way you act to make me bleed. Are you just here to taunt?
Perhaps it's time to give you up, not waste each other's time.
I think that I have had enough, I know it's all in my mind.
