Story Behind the Song
This was written with "new love" in mind, and the kind that will be there regardless of time and place, or circumstance.
I wrote this melody in 20 minutes, but the lyrics evolved over a couple of days.
10 hours of recording time.
Lyrics
Then And There (2 versions - upbeat & ballad)

Brian Brewer - Copyright 1997
I recall, the moonlight on your face
And your eyes glistened full with love
And then, and there
I touched your soft hair
Then I knew, yes I knew
I loved you
But then fate, stole you away from me
But could not, erase your memory
And then, and there
I touched your soft hair
Then I knew, yes I knew
I loved you

Bridge:
I know, I know
There's lovers and there's rhymes
When God, wrote your song
You know he wrote my lines
**********************************
When my life, turns its final page
Your colors, will fill my last rainbow
And then, and there
I'll touch your soft hair
And you'll know, yes you'll know
I love you
