Story Behind the Song
Inspired by a serial sycophant who attempted to persuade me to kiss up to some obscure nyc singer/songwriters as a way to advance my "career." I responded sarcastically, "It's so hard to be inconsequential in a sky full of stars too bright to believe." It's actually a song about depression and what causes people to swim in their own pools of despair.
