Story Behind the Song
After spending time in meditation at the
Detroit Zen Center, it seemed appropriate
to write something reflecting the experience. The music and lyrics were written about two years ago and then semi-finalised a few days before recording at Midwest.

A warm winds blowing through the valley tonight, a wolf is calling to the pale moonlight. Dark clouds rising, the storms almost here, hide the children, say a prayer my dear.
Oh Yosadhara, they're callin em out, no matter how much they kick, scream and shout, they gotta go. Make that journey to the foreign lands, water the horses and assemble the bands, they gotta go.
It's wise to ride under the cover of night, pray for protection, from the spirits of light. Keep the Red Record, close by your side, just like the Lenni-lenape did when they would ride.
Oh Yosadhara, I've always loved you my dear, from the first time I heard your voice in my ear, I'll dream of you. If we dont return, take the children away, high in the mountains where they will be safe, it's time to go.
A warm winds blowin through the valley tonight, a wolf is callin to the pale moonlight, dark clouds rising the storms almost here, hide the children, say a prayer my dear.
A warm winds blowin through the valley tonight, white wolf in the distance starring at a firey sight, thick smoke rising the storms now well here, oh paint your face and keep your mind clear .
Oh Yosadhara, Ambers not coming back, we lost her in the night it was a subtle attack, you'll meet again, by the time you read this well have left the Delaware shore, headed for Sion and the old mountain lore, we'll meet again...
And so they travelled from town to town, cherishin peace and layin the law down, oh little Jake/Jacob said how will I know, we told em son's you'll hear the wind blow, it's blowin.
