Story Behind the Song
The point of this song is to show that happiness is all about perspective. You can envy a guy who has a huge house, lots of money, and a beautiful wife, but he could be a miserable man.
Lyrics
Tony was a happy man,
but he never did see it.
He made an assload of money,
But his family would only eat it.
His wife she was a super model
But he never got to tap it.
She'd tell him not tonight she's got a headache
So then he'd have to jack it.
Tina was a happy whore,
But she never did feel it.
Got paid a lot to be loved,
But she never did feel it.
She always wanted attention
Since the days in junior high,
Now she's getting all she wanted
On the corner of Eastern Drive.
Timmy was a happy soul,
But he never did know it.
He kept himself plenty of company
With a mirror and a corset.
Shave his chest and tuck his goods
And put on a golden wig, he'd cry
tears of black and wish that
the reflected girl was his.
