	Story Behind the Song the song was written around a really cool Am riff. however, inside the studio, matt and i wanted a really thrasy nu metal song and we spent three straight days trying to get the right sounds on a 12 string, a 6 string, and a bass. it just sounded like crap and we decided to lay down the backbone and then add guitars. we added the bass, we then put in some drums and it sounded AWESOME! it was a really funky groovy thing. i threw in some keyboards and mixed in some electric guitars, distorted bass, and other effects to turn the chorus into a nu metal track. the feeling of the song is schitzo which goes along nicely with the lyrics Lyrics G2 i have walls in my head that hold me back every day they tell me what to do and to always be afraid they tell me to go home brandishing a gun they say to go alone and to trust no one i worry what to say and who to trust i hear i see i heal like gold in my head theres an overload millions of thoughts flying around they put my vision backwards symptomatic reprucssions of this dismal world do what you feel is right but dont get lost do what you feel is right but dont get lost
