"Don't Change Us" was written by Kenny Carter(see Sentforth)in the 1970's and recorded in 1977 by Kenny and myself(Buddy Clontz) along with a few other tunes. This is basically what our little "High School Rock Band" sounded like on a good day! The disc was burned from one of the few remaining taped copies of this song on an old 8-Track Tape! Sorry about the few seconds of damaged tape, etc that occur late in the song. One day I hope to get my hands on the master tapes, or a better copy of this tune! Kenny Carter sang and played Keyboard, Bass, and Guitar. At the time he was my High School Band Director...and an excellent one at that! He asked me to play the drums, a little percussion, and a little bit of guitar on this tune, and so I did. I was 15 years old at the time...and it was a great experience for me. After 25 plus years, we still perform music together and our latest effort can be found at www.mp3.com/sentforth or www.sentforth.net

    Story Behind the Song
This song was written by Kenny Carter(see Sentforth)in the 1970's and recorded in 1977 by Kenny and myself(Buddy Clontz) along with a few other tunes at Wayside Studios. If I am not mistaken, I think most of this song was done in the first take. The whole song was recorded in one evening for sure. The disc was burned from one of the few remaining taped copies on 8-track tape...remember those! Sorry about the pops, and few areas of damaged tape. One day I hope to get my hands on the master tapes! Kenny sang and played Keyboard, Bass, and did most of the Guitars. At the time he was my High School Band Director...and an excellent one at that! He asked me to play the drums, percusssion, and some guitar on this tune, and so I did. I was 15 years old at the time...and it was a great experience for me. After 25 plus years, we still perform music together and our latest effort can be found at www.mp3.com/sentforth or www.sentforth.net
