	Story Behind the Song I was driving school bus in Putney, VT and was transferred to the Dover, VT route. I missed my Putney students and was a very emotional period for me. I spent an entire month there. It took the whole month to compose the song. Ironically I completed writing the song the same day I left the Dover bus route and returned to my East Putney 1 route, thus the title.
