	Story Behind the Song this is the studio version of Consolation Prize. i kept it simple. still mainly just vocals and acoustic guitar but for dramatic effect we threw in an accordian lead part and some eerie keyboard noises. the song itself is a sadder tune. basically about longing, from a far for someone, wondering what its going to take til they are smart enough to come around. Its not meant to be a total bummer song though cuz theres a touch of hope still in it. If the person is worth it, being their consolation prize isn't so bad. However, the 4 million dollar question is always, is the person worth it?
