	Story Behind the Song This was recorded live at the First Baptist Church in Malden, MA on June 1, 2003, for a memorial concert for Robert Love, the organ teacher of the accompanying organist for 25 years. It was written in the 17th century by Giulio Caccini, a tenor and composer for the Medici family. Lyrics Amarilli, my beautiful one, don't you believe, sweetheart, that you are my beloved? Yet, believe it, and if fear assaults you, take this arrow, open my chest, and you will see written on my heart "Amarilli is my beloved."
