    Story Behind the Song
There are no hidden meanings in this song. It is just a pure story as the lyrics tell. It was recorded with Danny Oberbeck on drums and Lief Frederick on bass. I did all of the guitars and vocals.

    Lyrics
Just outside of Elko right before a storm
She was stranded with four kids trying to keep warm
That beat up old Failane had driven it's last mile
He pulled over to the side and offered her a smile
He got them to a motel room a half mile down the road
He told her not to worry he could help her with her load
She said her husband left her with nothing but that car
And said it was a miracle it ever got that far

Home sweet home in a '62 Fairlane
Too desperate and cold to even feel ashamed
An angel on a Harley who didn't give his name
Home sweet home in a '62 Fairlane

He rode on into Elko and found a house for sale
Attached to a cafe called the Chisholm Trail
He bought the place and set her up and said it couldn't fail
And said the highway is calling I'm sure that you'll do well
She kissed him on the cheek
He kicked his bike in gear
He looked over his shoulder and saw a stream of tears
He turned around and told her I'll be back someday
She stood there on the roadside and watched him ride away
