Lyrics
Beneath the nightfall moon,
The autumn's beauty is in;
Approach of winter's dragoon,
Is near to my goose-skin.
A day now darkens soon,
With all its worldly chagrin;
But love songs are immune,
To the wet and cold yin.
Beneath my sorrow deep,
There is a shadowed morn;
So my eyes may then weep,
And my heart be inside torn.
The summer is now asleep,
And beautiful colors adorn;
Until the next year I'll keep,
The thoughts I had well-worn.
My spirit to darkness attune,
Though nothing there shall reap;
For all is grayish roughhewn,
That comes from cold outleap.
