Lyrics When memories hurt, and comforting words only seem to remind you of the pain. When memories hurt, and all you have in this world slowly fades away, and day by day it’s all gone. Witnessing the struggle within, you wanna break free but you’re bound by self-contempt. Witnessing the fear and shame, you wanna take heed but it’s too late. When memories fade, you think of love that you made and you’re wondering how something that feels so right can be so wrong. If life came with a receipt then, would you take it back?
