Story Behind the Song
A couple we know whe were great friends and married for 16 years. We used to do things together, camping trips, dinner, etc. Our kids and theirs are best friends. But one day, the wife discovers that the husband has a girlfriend, and the end result is that they are now divorced. It really blew my mind, and was painful to watch, especially as the wife tried to hold onto it and fix it while the husband didn't want to. So I wrote this song about the need to sometimes just lay something down and move on.
