	Story Behind the Song Thursdays is a song that I wrote when a lot was changing in my life. It took quite a while to finalize the lyric and the simplicity of the song. The guitar was basically two takes... one for finger-picking - another for strumming. Lyrics I stranger came and said 'what's wrong with you?' I searched the room and said 'boy look at you.' And some were good... some were bad... and some were Thursdays. I can't find my way... the way back to yesterday. Oh, before the sun falls before my wake up call - I'm holding onto today. I woke up monday morning six a.m. I went out to find a friend. When life is like a used up empty house - just board it up again. I'd bend my back to forget tomorrow ever stood a chance... to see the light of day. I scared the daylight out of morning. I can't find my way the way back to yesterday. Before the sun falls, before my wake up call - I'm holding onto today. I'm fighting to stay in today.
