	Terra Firma is dark melodic rock - a 'micro-progressive' mini epic. Drums & guitar tracks were recorded at the end of 1999. Due to deterioration of the original tape, the vocals and bass had to be re-recorded in 2003. At least now this song can finally see light of day.

	Story Behind the Song We are all equeally capable of good or evil and in the end it all comes down to choices. Beyond 'nature or nurture' and discussions of genetics vs upbringing, in the end we choose what we do and who we become. Lyrics Yeah there's a dark sight on the sundown ridge - no camera eye will catch the hostility. But that's the shape that we choose to form - we live our lives in a haze of chloroform. Terra Firma's under my feet - afraid to look inside for the strangers we might meet. Try to decide to turn the page or close the book and dream aloud of another age. Terra Firma... Afraid to look inside - we're afraid to look inside. Running lost through the mirror maze - helpless refractions, an unearthly yeild brought into view past this barrage of off colors. Overcome this feeling glides away. Inside the glass, blocked by reflections we're all caught here in traction.
