	Story Behind the Song While going through college back in the mid 70's, I decided to learn piano. Took a course -- had problems reading notes, and after quarter( the school was on the quarter system ) -- stopped taking piano. I still wanted to play, and knew many of the music majors. That was a help, because there were rules as to who could use the practice rooms in the music building and since I wasn't taking any music classes, I was not allowed in the building. My friends inside the building would leave a window open on the ground floor on a side of the building that was least seen by anybody who would care. I would get into one of the practice rooms as quickly as possible, close the door, and just start pounding on the piano. I was clueless, but bone headed and persistant. After a while, I'd hit a combination of notes I'd like and try to reproduce it. The underlying composition of Too Mack comes from those days. I dusted it off for a new reinvention, reinterpretation on modern electronic synths.
