	Title song on the album Comfort Ride is a trance like journey like many of my songs. Moving forward into a hipnotic landscape, one can almost visualize colors and textures moving past in this joyful exploration of sonic space.

	Story Behind the Song Electronically created moving landscape has a hipnotic energy and was based on an imaginary journey on a future train that travels to the stars. Raised on the Television, science fiction shows introduced me to transporter technology in the future. My view of that and a real train ride as a child was merged together in visualizing this musical expression. It took a day to put it together and an other day to fiddle with it in my studio. A lot of my music would be difficult to perform because of the great amount of line variations. Not impossible, just very, very difficult. The length of the material would be exhausting to perform live -- but that's where studio work can push the musical edge a bit. My thoughts on that push me forward toward longer more complex pieces.
