	Story Behind the Song i was talking to a friend of mine who used to be a strong Christian. we were talking pretty seriously, and i asked him what happened, why did he turn away for the Lord. he told me that it just happened, but he still dreams of the days when he felt the Lord's presence, and knew that He was so real. it was a very touching conversation, and this is the song that came from it... Lyrics when i was young in fevered dream it seemed i caught a glimpse of things yet unseen but how long 'til i find that moment in all of time how long til i see how long? to ascend to the sublime when you knew you were so gloriously alive to that dream you wish could be your life now i am old i look behind me and weep that still i dream of that dream it's been so long since i even knew that i was alive
