	This is a song about riding a motorcycle through and living in Topanga Canyon. Topanga Canyon is a beautiful canyon very close to Los Angeles.

	Story Behind the Song I wrote the song for the biker opera remembering how much I used to love riding my bike through Topanga Canyon. The song was recorded in my home studio on a 16 track analog deck with Danny Oberbeck on drums and Lief Frederick on bass. I did all of the overdubs myself. Lyrics In a shady little canyon close to L.A. By a little creek safely tucked away It's pretty but it's wild I could stay there for a while And listen to the birds sing everyday Topanga what a place to ride What a place to hide on a summer day Topanga the ocean's your back door Spilling out upon her shores For evermore, Topanga let me stay Mother nature sings her morning song And gently throws her shadow across the lawn She reminds me that I'm a guest But I guess that she knows best Mother nature sings her morning song
