    Story Behind the Song
ok here it goes...line by line

"You say your different, But it's all the same"
since this song is a reaction to Emo-punk music, the first image that came to mind was how all these "emo-kids" announce that theyre different yet every one of them looks the same....disgusting

"You say your punk rock, but it's just a name"
Emo-kids also claim they're "punk-rock" when infact they are nothing close to it and should be ashamed for thinking they are....

"you carry all your keys around, but they don't open no doors
You could of been god for a day, but you got bored"
this reffers to the emo style, and provincial mindset

"If you don't get your way
    You cut in line
You cut in line too much of the time"
This is another Image that came to my mind immediatly after thinking emo...the way local bands tend to form and think that theyre ready for shows after a couple weeks practice...it's further expressed in the next couple lines...

"And when you get your turn,
    it's premature
If you ain't different your gonna be ignored"
Emo eagerness...and the future of emo lies in that last line...

    "And your source of water
Has been dried up for so long"
An analogy comparing Emo-creativity to water

    "We can make believe
    we're very pleased
If you ain't rocking you just turn it up"
the stupidity of emo...incase u haven't had enough of it

    "And your bridge over water
Has all burnt down to ash"
this goes along with the water analogy..its saying that any attempts to loophole there way around making good music, a.k.a. building a bridge over water, has failed...

The Music for this was originally inspired by the heavy E-string riffs on Nirvanas first album bleach, and the vines "outtatheway". the end!
