Story Behind the Song
It's hard to figure out why one of your best friends really doesn't want you to be happy. The bottom line is usually jealousy. The "Little Queen" I sing about in the song happens to be Kara M.'s (Dead Girl's Shoes) sister. I had to ask myself why she was encouraging me to enter into a negative contract by going along with her lies. Recorded on SONAR XL with awesome production from Steve Geiting.
Lyrics
Evil Kingdom
My dear old friend, It’s easy to see
Your disappointment in me
You know I won’t take the bait off the hook.
Won’t give back the trust that you took.
Tear down my life, tear down my man
Rip it all to shreds, execute your plan
Your intense jealousy won’t let you see
Why you can’t be happy for me.
Rip it up, rip it up.
Tear it down, tear it down
The little queen has lost her crown.
Rip it up, rip it up
Tear it down, tear it down
Your evil kingdom burns to the ground.
Like a Medieval priestess sitting high on your throne
You cast down your judgements on me.
Your subjects detect a manipulative tone
So, there you’ll remain ruling alone.
Rip it up, rip it up.
Tear it down, tear it down
The little queen has lost her crown.
Rip it up, rip it up
Tear it down, tear it down
Your evil kingdom burns to the ground.
(guitar solo)
Burn it all down, burn it all down
Burn it all down to the ground.
Burn it all down
Burn it down, burn it down, burn it down
Burn it down to the ground.
Burn it all down.
