Story Behind the Song
Eric and Kyle wrote this song becuase they were tired of all fo these usless songs commign out on the radio that were written for no other reason than money. So the wiseman is (real inspiration) and Muddy Waters is there for soul and 'cuz he's cool. John later edited the song a bit, then Kyle did again, then Inverness recorded it...
The part about the bridge is a fun refrence to both monty python, and a little play that Kyle and John were in about Christmas in 8th grade.
Lyrics
As they traveled down that road, there was someone to take their hands.
Help them through those muddy waters, till they reached till they reached the promised land.
There was a man down my the ridge, three guesses to cross the bridge.
There was blue, green, and red.
Wisemen, of the promised land!
*Chorus*
Wiseman of the promised land,
won't you reach out and take my hand,
sperad your seeds of knowladge across the land,
wiseman of the promised land.
As I followed them down that road,
dirt kicked right up into my face,
then I reached, then I reached the golden gates,
Where I stand as I wait!
*Chorus*
Wiseman 8x
Wiseman (with echo) 4x
Wiseman of the promiesed land!
