The ocean is deep, mysterious and tempermental. It is a world unto itself. There is a breeze, a sea breeze, that glides across the ocean and brings you a scent from a far away land. It is a woman that caresses you and let's you fly if you spread your wings. This is an airy, dreamy tune to explore that thought. Lots of vocals. |

Story Behind the Song
I felt the need to create a song that speaks of a wind that has circled the Earth and has known every part of it. It blew on Ulysses, it touched the cheek of Plato. It has felt you and knows you and knows your place in the world.
She kisses your cheek and whispers in your ear who you are to her.
She is a Lady of the Earth. A force of nature. Unseen, but felt and known in other ways.
Lyrics
Sea Breeze
Val Serrie Aug 1, 2003
I’m standing high above the ocean
Close to the sky, and looking out to sea
I spread my wings to catch the airflow
Should I trust the wind - will she carry me?
The same wind that blew on Ulysses
Is the same wind blowing on me here
You’ve seen the world, all through the ages
Talk to me, whisper in my ear
Sea breeze
Tropical wind flowing under my wings
Breath of the ocean
Lift me up, fly me away from here
Sea Breeze
Take me to the shores of a far away land
Shiokaze
Tell me your secrets, show me your plans
I love the way the wind blows beneath me
I feel it touching every part of me
Like a lover, this breeze holds me closer
I’m flying now, and never felt this free
The same wind that blew on Ulysses
Is the same wind blowing on me here
You’ve seen the world, all through the ages
Talk to me, whisper in my ear
Sea breeze
Tropical wind flowing under my wings
Breath of the ocean
Lift me up, fly me away from here
Sea Breeze
Take me to the shores of a far away land
Shiokaze
Tell me your secrets, show me your plans
