	Story Behind the Song I'd been working on some chords as well as independently thinking about writing some songs about the concept that music paints "aural pictures", and how sometimes to me music can seem to have almost tangible form as well as emotional impact. Also an attempt to juxtapose a sort of jump blues things with more abstract, almost boppish chords. Lyrics The first time I heard a guitar play the blues It shorted my suburban white boy fuse That fusion, blues and jazz just blew me away And the power of rock held me in its sway The music kept on comin' and my appetite grew Ther was Coryell, Santana, and then Mahavishnu They thought I was crazy but I didn't pay attention I already had my ticket into the 6th dimension Did you ever fel something that you could not express 'Cause it was way too big for your mind to address?
