	Story Behind the Song Sometimes we get angry at things, and sometimes our thoughts scare us. Lyrics We were all generals at one time and had the exact same stories to tell. I remember the day the bunker fell. The day I was watching you beg me. You looked so helpless. I watched as you were shot and trampled, kicked and scattered into sand bags. And it made me remember all the beaches I ran along as a boy and it brought me hope when I reach down and toss my hand around in this puddle of blood. My arms are slick like eels swimming through these cells and DNA. It only takes one test drive to be a cannibal. I’m getting closer every day. When the fluorescent beams break on these beads of sweat, I can see your eyes, or the lack there of. From where I’m standing, the world is a mangled heap of bodies. And from where I am standing, it doesn’t seem like too bad of a paradise to play with these slaughtered organs or roll around in this bloody sand. You know this will scar and screw me for life. Or will it? Am I all wrong or is the rest of the world just completely insane? Believe me for once; I’ll kill you if you try this again. These have been the worst two weeks of my life.
