	Story Behind the Song This song is the first recording the band made that we we're happy with - for the most part. The only thing I lament is the lack of clarity of the bass towards the end of the song. Many people have commented that they dislike the erratic drumming in this song. Personally, i feel that it adds a lot to the song once you've listened to it a few times. It goes well with the singing and spirit of the song, particularly towards the end. Lyrics I feel fine, and yet irate cause nothing seems to go my way. Walked across a desert, wider, knew i'd never find the way. There's a poet in the park he's writing words to heal his wounds. Feeding squirrels after dark, thats the stuff that rebels do. I tripped up on the heels of a renegade, mountains to climb but my knees aching. Promised me wealth and freedom worth lashes, stabbed me in the back, now he's pissing on my ashes.
