Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song about this chick I was having an affair with when I was living in San Diego...Yes, she just happened to be married. She was hot, though!
A little side note during the recording process... There is ONE (1) harmony line that I just couldn't seem to hold. I would go flat at the end... so after about 8 tries, I said "fuck it!" so we digitally helped the pitch. And the reason why I even mentioned this was I tried to use REAL instruments during the whole process. The song called ALL I DREAM, the percussion that you hear is actually a 5-gallon sparklettes bottle.
Lyrics
Let me taste your wine
(key of D)
(chorus)
I know you can never be mine.
but you can have my grapes from my vine.
sweet little lady who's lookin' so fine.
oohooh, let me taste your wine
...let me taste your wine
When we're together it feels so right.
We make love under the full moons' light.
You're in thoughts, well deep in my sight.
& you do everything that I like
(chorus)
I love your sweet loving tenderness.
I love when you give me your sweet carress.
It puts me in a state of hapiness.
I want your lovin', and nothin' less.
(chorus)
(Bridge)
oh, you just give me a sign, and I will be there...
cuz, you've got me every time take me while you can
I'm your ready, and your willing. I'm your able-bodied man \
come on little angel.., take me while you can
I'm your ready, and your willing. I'm your able-bodied man
guitar solo (12 bars)
(chorus)
ad-lib ...
