One of our not as heavy hardcore punkish songs. Its only a temporary version and will be redone. The vocals are especially bad since they were done with a cheap mic and had to be sung quietly as to not disturb others. It will be redone soon though.

    Story Behind the Song
It is an anti-NRA song. It's about the lies that the NRA tells in order to abuse the right to bear arms, and also the bigoted past behind it and how it still lingers in many members today. Alex and Ty decided to record it quickly on a 4 track and just use a set drum machine beat through it untill recordable drums were obtained. After laying down the instrument tracks (the bass one didnt turn out great but we were too tired to redo it, and teh wah pedal decided to become more of a volume pedal at the last minnute) we decided ot try out vocals. The good mic had been left over Dennis's house, so Alex grabbed a crappy kareoke mic, and recorded the vocals, being forced to ding quietly to not disturb people. The recorded version didnt turn out quite how we wound have liked, but will be re-recorded in the future.

    Lyrics
There's a man right now sitting in his home,
no one's with him but he's not alone.
He's got his guns by his side; he's playing authority, ready at any moment to shoot a minority. He joined the NRA to get guns easy and cheap, but he perpetuates the killings happening every week. Its white mans immortal fear spawned from bigoted thoughts, that their families will be killed unless the killer... is... shot.

It started, so many years ago. KKK was taken out Klansmen had nowhere to go. So they joined up with a legal organization, to push loose gun control laws, said they needed them to hunt, and to protect their farms. And now, so many years later, the NRA is still around. Hell you can hunt with an automatic rifle, and armed robberies can still be found. But those robbers are armed with the guns that you provided! You can get them anywhere, at any store. But you dont car all you know is you hate blacks and you need guns since youre a fucking fascist neo-nazieque whore! Come on!

So now were forced to suffer, just so they can have their guns. A new school shooting every week, homicide convict on the run. So they blame the kid, it was just another one of those Goths. They're all suicidal anyway, so why not just kill them all?

So you'd think, with all of these killings, that someone would get a clue. They're not protecting our rights like they claim, but stealing from me and you. Stealing lives! Highest gun homicide rate in the world, we can claim that here at home. And sometimes, sometimes I think, that I am all alone in that, I dont think we need the right to have guns. Dont tell me you need to hunt! Killing things in cold blood, in cold blood just isn't fun. But theyre supported, supported and made up of rich white men, who arent interested in our safety but for their stocks and bonds and all of their money. AND MAKING STREETS SAFE FOR OUR GUNS AGAIN!

Why must we carry guns, why must we feel the need to kill? With the righteousness of their immortal power destroyed then peace...then peace can be instilled.
    Why must we carry guns?
