	Story Behind the Song The roots of the song go back to 1983, when my longtime songwriting partner Izzy Kieffer and I were in yeshiva in Jerusalem, and ever so taken by the feeling that the arrival of the messiah is imminent ... but, of course, 20 or so years have passed (kibiniMAT!), and we're still waiting. However, you can't wait for the arrival of some long-hoped-for savior to solve all your problems, whether it's putting your life in order, or rebuilding a city left for dead, or grabbing a once-in-a-lifetime chance, or finding someone to love ... you gotta do it *now*. Nobody's gonna do it for you. And even though the things you want or believe in will inevitably be put down by naysayers who themselves have been falling back their whole lives, you gotta push forward and *take* what's yours. No matter how old you are -- don't let yourself get any older before you go get it. This is the time. This is the first song recorded for my magnum opus, the expanded "Soul In Exile" trilogy.
