This special Appearance by MC G-Nome and Special Elf closes Lentwig is Dead. These guys break off some dope rhymes over dope beats. Actually, there's only one beat. But it's still dope, yo!
CD: Lentwig is Dead   Label: Lentiwig Records
Credits: Vocals: Mc G-Nome and Special Elf. Keyboard, Beat box: Rob Hammel

    Story Behind the Song
Rob and G-Nome go way back, so when Nome heard that Rob was doing a Lentwig record, he jumped at the chance to get in on that thang. This was the most labor-intensive song on the record. It took almost 8 hours to record and mix. Special Elf brought lots of great ideas to the proverbial table. Actually, we had a table. It was verbial. Elf wrote his ideas on it. He had ideas like, "Let's make that line rhyme," and "Yeah, that was cool."
That stuff is invaluble. Check it. Then buy the cd. Seriously.

    Lyrics
    Well I be G-Nome, Here's Special Elf
If you step to our crew, ya best wreck
    yo self
Cause we bust rhymes like a pin to a balloon
Have you bought our album? Best do it soon
Gonna say some words, gonna play some beats
While the sucka MCs go pound the streets
When we in the place, nothin can be whack
The Fat Boys weren't frontin they were really
    fat
When I wear shoes Special Elf wear socks
People used to use candles before there were
    clocks

For a stoopid desert G-Nome eat pie
A dj who can't play will hear this beat and
    cry
We represent cds a la Lentwig
I never met an Irish person who danced a jig
I don't like rock music I listen to rap
When a ho's outta line she gets a slap
That's what I saw on Pimps Up Hos Down
I still live with my parents, payin' rent's
    for clowns

That's how we rock when we on the mike
Do you think there's anything between Buffy
    and Spike?
Now that we've changed your life nuthin is
    the same
It's time to go home and play video games
Got 6 lines left and then we out
Back in '89 all the kids had clout
It's 2002, dawg, nobody use verbs
Lets drink some foties and smoke some herbs
B-boys got rhymes like Phyllis Diller
That's the end of this album all the rest is
    filler
