Lyrics
Sometimes the day begins with people talking, perhaps just 1 or 2 voices or several voices all at once, and before the day is just a few hours old, all these talking voices start to accumulate, and it becomes a major mental task, just to retain what is being said, and after a while you realize that you can't absorb all this information, so you try to decide at the very moment all these voices are coming at you and running around inside your head, what is truly important and should be remembered, and what is totally superfluous and should be ignored.
As the day wears on, the voices continue with more and more talking at you all at the same time, unrelentlessly piling up in your internal memory banks, until you reach the point that you so accurately predicted earlier in the day would come, and this prediction alone had to be done in some far distant corner of your mind, you do become very faintly aware that you won't remember any of this at all.
When the day is finally over and you are about to fall asleep from sheer mental exhaustion, the voices start up again, replaying themselves in your head, at times talking all at once, at times talking with short snippets of the useless drivel that has bombarded your psyche for the last 15 hours, and you realize that you definitely have a severe case of information overload that isn't going to be alleviated anytime in the near foreseeable future, and faced with the absolute certainty that there is no escape from the uncontrollable torment of the auditory input you've been mercilessly forced to endure since the day began, you resign and console yourself to the inescapable truth, that life is like that, sometimes
