	Story Behind the Song "Now Is The Time" Written and Performed by Buddy Clontz Copyright 2002 Buddy Clontz ALL RIGHTS RESERVED This song is basically a blues-rock groove with a heavy Spiritual Vibe going on. I played ALL of the instruments and did the vocals on. I recorded, mixed and mastered this song in my home studio. For more information, you may contact me by e-mail at clontz@hotmail.com The song idea came about early in 2002 after my oldest daughter left for college and I was thinking about the influences that she and other young people would be subjected to, and how they might react to them...on a daily basis...and on the affect that these influences/distractions sometimes can have on their ability to correctly make important decisions(especially those with regard to Religious and Moral issues). Basically the song is saying that we only have one shot in life to "get things right". There is no promise of tomorrow...so important decisions such as choosing good over the path of darkness...should never be put off. This is not a dress rehearsal kids...so "Now Is The Time" to step up and make clear, bold decisions...then move forward in a positive way. It's also a song about not letting people and/or external things going on in the world distract or deceive you from the true purpose God has in store for your life.
