Story Behind the Song
I orginally wrote this song for a motion picture that was never filmed. The lyrics express my personal feelings about those that gave their lives for freedom. I recorded the song as a demo in my project studio in Los Angels with the help of my musician friends. It took about a week to record the vocal and music tracks.

May God bless the Soldier Unknown
A solder's coming home, and he travels all alone, far away from the battle and pain, such pain.
He died far from home, in a battle he had known, and do you remember his name?
A sailor's coming home, and he sails all alone, on a ship, on some sea, in the rain, in the rain.
One day he was gone, in a sea war he had known, and do you remember his name?
Some solder's can't come home for reasons unknown, and whom do we ask, "Tell us why? Tell us why?"
In the sun and the rain, some will honor his fame, and try to remember his name.
Is he resting alone, in places he has known, so far, far away from his home, and alone.
Now that it's done, forget not our sons,
and try to remember their names.
He was there on land or sea. Far from his home was destiny.
Now that it's done, forget not our sons,
and try to remember their names.
May God bless the soldler unknown
